Quick Update, for those that have been paying close attention to the next Crush Congregation Beat Battle that will be taking place on November 16th at The State Theatre, here in Modesto, We are officially releasing the rules and instructions so you know what it is you are signing up for, Check it out:

All participating producers must be at The State Theatre on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 4:30 PM to check in with thumb drives containing their music.
This is a Four Round Beat Battle - Three 1 minute Sample pack rounds and a Live Beat Set final round.
Bring your music on a thumb drive and please label the tracks as such:
Artist Name - Round 1
Artist Name - Round 2
Artist Name - Round 3
I will be uploading each file onto my computer prior to the beat battle. Having the music labeled this way will help me organize the music easier for each round.
I will be playing the song samples from the sample pack prior to the battle starting in each round. This will be a chance for us to highlight the sponsors and showcase the sample you were chosen to reimagine.
After we play the samples, we will introduce each producer per battle. The producers will be introduced by name prior to us playing the beat. You will be onstage while the beat is playing.
Both Left and Right side of the stage will be associated with a X (Right Side) or O (Left Side).
This will help the judges easily pick the producer they feel made the best beat that round.
There are a total of 5 judges and there will be no tie rounds. The Battle will begin at 7:00.
Please pay attention to these guidelines:
This is a 4 round, single elimination event. Once you lose a round, you are out. First Place wins $500.00 Cash and Second Place wins $250 Cash
Round 1: Sample Flip
Each producer will play one, 1 minute long beat. This beat is to be made using a sample pack that will be issued before the battle. We will be drawing names for battle placement and order prior to the first round. You can use whatever drums, VSTs, instruments, vocal samples, but you cannot use full verses or do remixes.
Remember......YOU HAVE 1 MINUTE FOR EACH BEAT!
Round 2: Sample Flip
Producers will play a single, one minute long beat. This beat is to be made using a sample pack that will be issued before the battle. This pack will contain three samples. You can choose to use just one, or all three samples.

Round 3: Remix Round
This is the remix round. You will need to create a remix using the vocals from the sample pack in the accapella remix folder. You may use any beat you would like. You must keep the remix to 1 minute long.

Round 4: Finals LIVE ROUND
The Final Round both beatmakers will play one 5 minute long beatset using whatever beats you have made. There is no Sample associated to this round, they are just beats that you feel are your best beats. You can use vocal samples, remixes, and please try to make it feel like a performance, because you will be judged partly on that aspect.
Remember......YOU HAVE 1 MINUTE FOR EACH BEAT EXCEPT THE FINAL ROUND.
